".... From streets to movie theaters, from classrooms to boardrooms, from diners to churches.....
.....Cell phones, cell phone stores, cell phones online, cell phone usage....."

Cell phone usage is getting out of control. The irritating ring tones and the incessant yakking spare nothing; not even weddings, funerals, and conferences. I'm talking about the loud, rude attitude that has seemingly pervaded all of the mobile phone-carrying society. Executives, salesmen, doctors, lawyers, and priests know what I'm talking about. You cogitate I’m kidding? A lot of people can attest to this sad fact. They practically forget or totally abandon the most basic of courtesies.

From streets to movie theaters, from classrooms to boardrooms, from diners to churches, rude cell phone users are anywhere. One of my favorites is about a speaker who was in the mediate of a demonstration. I know a lot, and I mean a lot, of executives who have quite a few stories to tell about this attitude. Moreover, deplorable cell phone manners is observed by almost everybody at least once a day. His mobile phone rang and he immediately stopped and answered his phone! This is getting to be preposterous, and we need to put a stop to it.

A recent survey says that carrying out loud conversations in public is the worst habit of cell phone users. Cell phones are not the issue here. But let us be clear on one thing. The sales of cell phones are rising. People are. Wireless technology is being abused all on all sides us. So are the decibel level and the rudeness. Here are some dos and don’ts. It's time to take a stand against it. This rule also includes meetings with co-workers or subordinates, and job interviews.

Don’t take a personal call in the mediate of a business meeting.

Do not thesis others to your phone conversations. You’ll be amazed to know how in job applicants flunk this one. People about you should have the luxury of not listening. We do not need to know the banal details about your life. Try also not to hold an intimate phone dialogue in the course of in public. And remember to keep all conversations short and simple.

Never hold a phone oral communication inside theaters, elevators, libraries, churches, graveyards, infirmaries, lunchrooms, museums, or any other enclosed public spaces. Do we really have to listen to this nonsense? Grow up! Also, forget about multi-tasking with your cell phone. If you really have to, use an earpiece in noisy locations, so that you can control the volume of your voice.

Don’t set your ring tone to execute La Cucaracha every time someone calls you. And one more thing. Avoid making calls whilst shopping, walking, waiting in line or other personal business. It’s very important.

Technology and improvement manners can belong. Tell everyone that you're now using improved cell phone etiquette, and ask them to do the same. You can always use the vibrate function, use organ mail, or go to a secluded area before making a call. Just ask the millions of Internet users, who’ve adopted the rules for email etiquette.
