MSC pursues its mission by certifying fisheries that meet its sustainable standards and developing market demand for certified seafood. The Marine Stewardship Council certification also allows Oregon pink shrimp to be sold using the coveted cobalt MSC eco-label diagnostic a sustainable fishery.

The Marine Stewardship Council is an organization that works to improve the robustness of the world‘s oceans and to help redeem a sustainable global seafood market. They are harvested using advanced trawl methods. The MSC good example is based on consumers rewarding sustainable fisheries by choosing seafood that originates from certified sustainable fisheries.

Pink shrimp, also known as bay or salad shrimp are fine (100-140 whole per lb). Pink MSC certified shrimp are delivered to shore for cooking, peeling and freezing, resulting in an extremely fresh product of excellent quality.
