Solar Energy Live ~ Solar Energy Live ~ Solar Panels ~ Solar Power ~ Solar Power
By :
Beatrix CC
As years pass by nature seems to be running out of resources for us. This means that if we do not look for some alternatives at time, humanity might get in a dead-end situation. Until now we have been using fossil fuels for sustaining most of the daily activities that need electric power. Hot water, warmed rooms during winter, lights in the house and in the garden they might all fade away. Alternative energy can be something to consider as it is for free and it does not pollute the environment.

Solar Power And Its Future
By :
calvin Joness
In the United States of America many people are totally excited about solar power especially considering the new technology advances due to presidential initiatives in alternative energies. Tour buses often have televisions, refrigerators and air-conditioning all of which have electrical needs and for about $10,000 you could set up a very nice solar power system. The amount of power solar panels produce is determined by the quality of the solar panel and the materials and technology used in making the solar panel. One of the major milestones achieved in the solar power technology is the invention of photovoltaic cells. Because the sun will keep on shining, there will be no need to renew your primary source of solar power.
The Global Warming Hot Air
By :
calvin Joness
Indeed some believe Global Warming is a lot of hot air. That makes sense, so rather than beating my head against the Global Warming Alarmists Walls, I would rather use them to serve my will to beef up our civilizations flows to withstand and/or adapt to, without disruption any sudden change, whether from a man-made caused war or Mother Nature. Recently in an online think tank one think tanker was criticized for placing a post in the Global Warming section of the website on a Chinese Flooding event which washed away 90 people and in another province killed 117 folks. Perhaps if we all had a clearer idea about the effects in our daily lives, we would try to do more about global warming. Basically global warming is the ascent of the earth’s surface temperature due to chemicals in the atmosphere. One of the comprehensive effects of global warming is the quickening of the hydrogen cycle. “I find no compelling scientific evidence that global warming is caused by anything other than ordinary, natural climatic cycles. That the signature of global warming is present in today’s climate. The mechanics of global warming are simple. Sometimes I think China needs me to go run things and then I figure they have a lot of very smart people in the world to choose from, but it is readily apparent that they are looking for short-term gains against the backdrop of 10,000 years of written recorded history of long-term strategic thinking. Yet also consider that if the US were to stop its pollution then our industrial might would be severely hampered and if China and other nations did not do the same then the playing field would be so far tipped that trade deficits would increase to an alarming rate and even more industry would move to foreign shores. Some of the warming effects that have been seen in Alaska include the melting of upper permafrost layers that have caused buildings to sink and tilt and the erosion of the coastline at the village of Shishmaref. Increased night-time temperatures, occurring at twice the rate of warming of daytime temperatures; - Higher rainfall over many Northern Hemisphere mid-to-high latitude areas of land; - The Northern Hemisphere is also experiencing an extension in the length of the freeze-free season. If you don't like it very hot then what comes next would be even worse and shouldn’t we be talking about global cooling and not global warming? It is unfortunate that liberals are pushing a global warming agenda, which does not exist and using bogus academic reports to back up their political ambitions. The global warming issue is a complex one. They talk of crop failures, long term droughts, flash floods and re-distribution of giant ice bergs causing changes in the balancing of tectonic plates triggering seismic events, Tsunamis and a host of other issues with sea currents, weather flows and then moving us into an ice age which might last over 10,000 years? Urban heat is one thing mankind is doing by planting concrete everywhere, but those changes in weather flows are generally regional and dissipate.

By :
Ibrahim Machiwala
Hemophilia in Pakistan:
• A relatively young country, with an ancient past, Pakistan achieved independence from Britain on August 14, 1947, after its bloody partition from India.
• Pakistan's health care system has crumbled: public hospitals are in appalling condition, even basic treatment unavailable for many common disorders.
• Private hospitals-modern and fully equipped-foster the only available research, and provide the most advanced and comprehensive care for people with hemophilia, but are extremely expensive and beyond the reach of most.
• No infrastructure currently exists to provide public and free care to people with this lifelong bleeding disorder.
• Of the estimated 12,000 people with hemophilia in Pakistan, only 3,100 have been identified.
• Until early 1980, hemophilia was not even known to exist within the country, and only a few patients were alive. In 1982 the first blood bank was formed.
• Currently only five major cities-Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi-Islamabad, Peshawar Multan, Faisalabad and Quetta-now have facilities to provide plasma or cryo.
• And treatment at its best in Pakistan is still primitive by Western standards. Virally inactivated high or intermediate purity factor concentrates are available only to the minority elite, who are wealthy enough to pay out of pocket. But the majority of patients, the poor, receive plasma or cryo. They most often receive inferior plasma, which is not always screened for HBV, HCV and HIV.

The Global Warming Train Has Left Sanity Station
By :
Calvin Leonard
Indeed some Global Warming theorists think it is too late to stop the effects of mankind on our atmosphere and that these undesirable effects will cause the triggering of these super storms, freak weather and catastrophic occurances. In order to control and avoid the effects of global warming we must first be in agreement with a fact that it is happening, and take some action to end or even reduce it. Is Global Warming actually happening? Well some people believe Global Warming is a lot of hot air and others will have you to believe the sky is caving in tomorrow. We all know of the doom and gloom predictions of Global Warming and Climate Change with rising sea levels, super storms and it all sounds like a lot of hot water we will possibly be in ?
